In some cases, however, such as in babies and small children or when the symptoms have continued many days or when the body is weak and needs nutrients, then it may be wise to try to stop the diarrhea. There may in such cases be a danger of dehydration or loss of essential minerals and vitamins, and thus the need to stop it. Continue reading “HS33 Diarrhea”

The process of menopause cannot be avoided but its on start can be delayed and its unpleasant side affects significantly reduced or almost completely eliminated. Some symptoms of reduced hormonal secretion are hot flashes, reduced interest in sex, insomnia, irritability, and emotional instability. If there is a disturbance in the parathyroid and thus in the calcium metabolism, then osteoporosis or arthritis can be the result. Continue reading “HS49 Menopause”
