That first puff must have been for all persons a shocking negative experience. Why did they continue after that first experience of gagging on this poisonous substances clogging their lungs? Perhaps for some it was a matter of being socially accepted by others in their peer group. Perhaps others were trying to emulate their parents or other adults. Still others may have been trying to express their freedom by doing some thing they were not supposed to do. Some may have started because they saw others enjoying that experience. Still others may have been affected by the totally immoral cigarette advertisements which show supposedly important successful or physically attractive or socially admired people smoking a particular brand. How can business men and others accept living on money which is made at the expense of others’ health, vitality, mental harmony and even their lives? Continue reading “HS59 Smoking”
SUN SALUTATION BREATHING is a series of exercises in which we use the movements of the arms to open up the chest cavity. We stand with the body as straight and relaxed as possible. Our palms are placed together in front of our chest. Then as we inhale, we interlock the fingers and turn the palms away from the body as if to push something away. The inhalation takes place slowly until the full extension of the arms, which remained joined at the fingers. Continue reading “Y-02 Sun Salutation”
