What has made me interested in this course is that I have been a teacher for the past 27yrs. I am looking to do something different with my life, my career. I just have this feeling that something else is out there for me to do, I have been in recovery since 1988 and have been searching many years through therapy, workshops, the twelve step programs AA and NA for peace and serenity and to a great extent I have found it. I am not saying that the search is ever over. My dilemma is now what do I want to do with the rest of my life?..

Since my early youth, a deep interest in the psychological behavioral aspects was defining my personality. Being emotionally very sensitive, I had quite a painful childhood. I experienced many intensive, non-harmonious personal relationships and a great fear for marriage, commitment and loss.
At my 40’s, I realized that I have the power to sift my life and leave more peacefully and at ease, succeeded to improve in many points and still working on accepting myself and my weaknesses. Since then, spirituality became a strong guide for me and the whole aspect of my life has changed.
Many friends and colleagues are approaching me, asking for advice and it seems that they find my responses quite helpful. Moreover I’m very sensitive to people in need although not willing to help all the time, and this program might help me better understand how I can be of service to the emotional pain people are suffering.
It might also be an opportunity to change my career to a more human science direction, than my current business environment.
I truly wish I’m taking the right step.
